Apart from condoms, you can consider options like oral contraceptive pills, intrauterine devices (IUDs), contraceptive implants, injections, or patches. The right choice depends on your health, lifestyle, and future pregnancy plans
Next Steps
Consult a gynecologist to discuss which method is safest and most suitable for you.
Health Tips
Some methods also help regulate periods and reduce cramps, but they should be started only after medical advice.

Hello dear , So happy to see someone so aware of the need for contraception and reaching out for more information! Other than the good old condoms, there are a plethora of options such as long term contraceptive pills ( daily/weekly dosage ) , 3 monthly injections , hormonal implants under the skin of your forearm and intrauterine devices which are placed in an OPD setting and can last from anything between 5-10! yrs without having to bother about taking a pill everyday. There are also other measures you can adopt such as avoiding the fertile window, the "pull-out" method and using spermicides , which provide an added protection layer to even condoms . If you have completed your family and are seeking permanent solution, there are sterilization options also . The right choice for you will have to be individualised as per your credentials, family status and other parameters. Do sit down with a gynaec who can explain all the various options to you and help you choose the perfect one catering to your needs .
Next Steps
Consult a gynaec for detailed discussions
