hello, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done. if there is a cavity, you need to get it filled. if there is infection to root of the tooth, you need to get it treated. then get a crown placed over it.

The pain in the tooth may be due to presence of a cavity / and or loss of enamel in that particular tooth.Visit your dentist and get a radio-graph done . Let the dentist co-relate the radio-graph clinically to suggest you a solution.
