The commonest contact lenses are soft contact lenses.. they can be daily or fortnightly or monthly disposable or conventional ( in the latter the same contact lenses are worn for a year or so and then discarded ). If you have a high cylinder number your eye doctor may recommend RGP or semi soft contact lenses. All contact lenses need proper looking after and strict hygiene to prevent complications.
