Get the intraoral x-ray done to decide the extent of cavity,if it has gone beyond the living part of tooth (nerve) then just cement filling won't be sufficient,u will have to undergo the Root Canal procedure.

Hello,
You might be suffering from Decay in teeth.
You need to checked them and get them filled. Filling now days is tooth colored which is called composite filling.
If cavity very deep,dentist might need to take an xrays and RCT
root canal treatment may be needed.

Cavities can be treated by composite fillings if the cavity is small, or root canal treatment if the decay is extensive and associated with symptoms in the tooth. The differentiation between the two treatment modalities can be ascertained only after a proper chemical check up of the case.
