Constipation in 5m baby
My daughter is not having stools properly she is only 5 m old also while feeding milk she used to cry and respose is not good towards milk we used to give formula milk as my wife undergoes a C-section operation and mother's milk is not in suffiecient qty, kindly suggest us what to do.

I agree with Dr Sasidharan. Also would add a point, at 4-6 months baby can wean off breast milk. So since your baby is 5months old you may wean her with complimentary feeds. Kindly visit pediatrician for advice of same.

Would recommend exclusive breast feed for six complete months. C section is not contraindication for breastfeeding. Milk production is never ending process. Top feed is associated with constipation. Issue of nipple confusion also present. Best thing would be to continue exclusive breast feeds for six complete months .Regards
