My son is 3 years old. He hasn't passed stool since Tuesday!! He feels pressure and try to poop but he complain pain in anus while pushing to poop, I guess it's hard stool so he's having trouble passing!! It happens with him earlier too but its first time that he has not pooped in days, generally he poops daily n sometimes alternate days too!! Pls suggest medicine or home remedy!! I gave him evict syrup in morning.

As their is already a constipation history in the past
U need to give some laxative for some time that is long term management .
along with it u need to give evacuate his bowel acutely since he hasn’t passed motion since 4day.
That is dulcoflex suppository 5mg anal administration if that fails need to give phosphate enema (should be done in hospital preferably)
For maintainence
H-peg powder 1 spoon once r twice a day depending on his response.
Stop milk. biscuits
Encourage papaya,banana more fruits and vegatable

it’s constipation make him eat lots of high fibre diet make him drink lots of water make him eat banana daily you can apply oil in the anal region .if he is not passing motion after this for more than three days consult
