Constipation for my 5 month old

My baby is suffering from constipation he has not passed stool for past two and he is 5 months old, I have started him with weaning kindly assist me

Try adding a laxative to his feeds. Ask your pediatrician for the exact dosage and formulation. If you are weaning, top feeds again have a tendency to cause constipation. Since he isn't above 6 months of age, u cannot give water or other fluids

The definition of constipation is 1. Passing hard stools daily also constipation 2. If the baby passed semisolid yellowish stools once in 3 days not constipation 3 mother milk has no recidueal waste Hence the stools are not formed No worry
