Constipation for 5 year old
Hi, my son is 5 year old, weight around 18.6kgs.He is suffering from chronic constipation from 1 month , we have done usg abdomen scan as prescribed by pediatrian, it came out as Mesenteric Lymphadenitis 1.5cm and used to say abdominal pain after eating and drinking anything, BUT NOW STOMACH PAIN IS REDUCED , but still has constipation.. passing motion once in 3 days that too with lots of pain. We are continuously giving fiber food and started Cremaffin Syrup 5ml once a day. Can someone please help me on how to reduce pain while passing motion.

Hello. Make sure he drinks plenty of fluids atleast 1.5litre per day. Continue giving fibrous foods. Few concerns needs to be cleared...any fever? Any physical examination finding?

Give plenty of fluids in the form of water, juices, coconut water etc Give plenty of fruits and vegetables Gentle toilet training after a feed or at regular time in the morning or evening will reduce the pain
