Constant tightness in right side of thro
I have tightness in right side of throat.ct scan of my throat shows elongated styloid process.but x ray shows left side of throat elongated.endoscopy is normal.lyrnogoscopy is also normal.what should i do.

Elongated styloid process or eagles syndrome is uncommon condition. Confirmation of diagnosis is by correlation of symptoms with CT scan findings as CT is more precise. Confirmation of symptom relation to elongated styloid process is done by infiltration of local anesthetic into the area of styloid process and then looking for symptom relief. If you feel better after this procedure then surgery is considered
