Constant pain in tooth
I've done root canal procedure's first sitting; in that dentist had emptied root canal' s infection partially by needle like thing, and it was very much painful. And had put temporary cement on to the crown of infected tooth for the temporary closing . Now I am suffering from""severe pain""while chewing any food or while tapping of upper and lower jaws. And cement drew's off frequently. So now please reply that is the treatment going on correctly because next sitting is after 10 days.

A root canal treatment may require 3-6 sittings depending upon the case,,so there may be still infection inside. That is the reason it may be paining,,take painkillers, and consult your dentist before 10 days.

The treatment is not complete. The dentist might not have completely removed the infected tissue. There might be remnants of the infected tissue so you are experiencing pain.
Next Steps
Please visit your dentist don’t wait for 10 days.
