Pelvic and lower back pain is common during pregnancy due to stretching of ligaments ( relaxin and progesterone hormone). That can also lead to the issue of constipation for some. She should be on a high fiber diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables. Maintain hydration with at least 3 litres of water per day.
