Constant fever weakness
I am suffering from heavy weakness and fever 102° since 4 days. I consulted local doc who said its viral and gave ezethromycin(1) nd paracetamol(2) per day . as soon as i take paracetamol , fever goes away but after 6-8 hours again it reaches 102° . i am facing heavy weakness and body pain , also there is major pain in forehead. I havent seen cough symptoms yet. Please suggest what sort of test shall i undergo and what can be the cause of ilness . Additional info is that my another roommate is suffering from dengue and he is admitted. Can i also be facing same problem ?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. You can take paracetamol 650mg thrice a day after food for fever. You should get your blood tests like complete blood counts, urine complete, dengue serology and widal done. Dengue spreads by mosquitoes so chances are you could also be infected by the same mosquitoes. Kindly consult a physician there with the reports. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain.
