Constant fever
My son 16 month old had fever on 3rd Apr which lasted for 5 days after taking homeopathic medicines
Also he took pyrigesic 1.25 mg medicine 12 Times in 5 days 5ml/ each. Again he had fever on 25th Apr max. Temp 103.7 f and minimum not going down below 99.3 after taking pyrigesic 5ml per 4 hours. Today on 26 I took him to aleopathi doctor and he told to give p250 3.5ml / 6 hours. Also Also he gave medicine cetirizine syrup 2.5 ml twice in a day. My query is why my baby is having fever in a very short span of time. Both Times he had mild cough and cold. Pls tell me what should I do

When a child is recovering from one illness his immunity is already low. On top of that if he is exposed to another infection, he is vulnerable and hence can catch it easily. Recovery from one viral infection does not guarantee immunity against another type of virus, hence kids can fall sick often
