Constant cough
My 5 year old has always had a coughing problem. We've used nebulizers medecine xrayed her chest asked about asthma even been prescribed a codeine cough medecine. She was tested for the flu and strep yesterday and just given steroids for possible croup. She had her tubes put in a month ago to help constant ear infections. We've gone to the doctor so much and she's missed to much school and it just doesnt ever go away for long. She's been in bed coughing for 2 hours and is just obviously exhauste

Give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down.
Yes,some children are more prone for infections,but in general,kids up-to 8 years of age fall sick 6-7 times in a year on the average.
Give him a balanced,healthy diet,and ensure good physical activity.
