Consistent fever in TB Treatment
I have been taking TB medicine from 5 weeks .. after drainage of fluid from my lungs i was not having fever but after one week after starting ATT, every evening around 6 pm i get Fever -102  F and it goes after taking pcm and again at 4 am i get fever upto 102F.  Is it normal TB fever or drug fever ..

fever will be there for the 1st 8 weeks..on and off..if it subsides with pcm then do not worry, else consult with a new chest xray..there could be new fluid formation

Fever will be present after Att,due to killingng of Bacteria.it will be there for 1to 2 months.pl consult pulmonologist with detailed history and reports and treatment taken for better evaluation and treatment.

After 5 week's it's not normal. Better consult a pulmonologist and get re evaluated.
