Conjunctivitis
My mother is repeatedly getting conjunctivitis on both her eyes. it started with one eye and spreaded on to the other. It started some 20 days back and has been reoccuring ever since then. If one eye gets cured the other eye would start developing one again. she had cataract operation few years back and is going to have a cataract operation on the other eye soon. But this recurrence of conjunctivitis has been a very painful affair for her. Is there any medicine that can stop it?

Hello It is not common to have frequent recurrence as discussed here I would recommend her to consult local ophthalmologist and get proper eye examination done
