Confused for pcos or pregnancy
Hello Doctor, I'm 19 years old. My last period started on 27 May, and I still haven't gotten my periods. My periods have always been irregular. I'm really worried because in June I had genital rubbing with my partner, but there was no penetration. The penis did not go inside the vagina. I noticed some white fluid, but it was on my pubic hair, not near the vaginal opening. For the past few months I've also had: Increased facial and body hair growth Acne Significant hair fall Could this be due to PCOS or another hormonal issue? Based on what I've described, how likely is pregnancy, and what should I do next? I'm very anxious and would really appreciate your guidance.

Pregnancy risk from what you described is extremely low — no penetration occurred and fluid wasn't near the vaginal opening. Your symptoms (irregular periods, facial hair, acne, hair fall) strongly suggest PCOS.
Next Steps
Do a home urine pregnancy test to put your mind at rest. Get an ultrasound pelvis and hormonal tests (LH, FSH, testosterone, prolactin, thyroid). Consult me on Practo for a full PCOS evaluation and management plan.

The first thing you should do is a pregnancy test. If negative we can do further investigation to know the cause of irregular periods

Do a pregnancy test. If negative then take medicine to get your period. Get ultrasound scan and blood test to know the reason for delayed period.
