Confirmation of PEP for rat bite exposur
Hello Doctors,
Maybe I was unable to clearly state my query, I do apologize but my main question was that if previously my sister was given 4 ARVs ( On days 0,3,8,16), 5th dose was not given as animal was alright and I was told a deviation of 1-2 days after for 3rd and 4th ARV is acceptable.
So, now in case of re-exposure yesterday, will we need to give HRIG also or just 5 ARVs? Will the previous ARVs stimulated antibodies be there so no HRIG is required now with the ARVs?
