Compound fracture
Had a open wound injury in fifth toe .wound is recovering n showing adequate blood flow but I had a exposed bone .my proximal phalange bone was fractured which is not healed after 5 weeks .so my doc took out that bone piece .will I have problem in walking with missing bone.the accident happened 45days ago is there any chances of infection any more.plz suggest or I will go for amputation of toe.i m in dilemma

Who said amputation of the toe when Ur doctor took out of the bone piece what did he said whether there is pblm n missing bone or something else have you not seen people walking without foot means Symes amputee proper dressing if the affected part is not healed take proper medication for that is required no
