The issue in your case:
Two different doctors prescribed them separately, which means neither may know about the combination.
Even if both medicines are safe together, it is important that one psychiatrist supervises the full treatment plan, so dosing and monitoring are consistent.
Next Steps
Escitalopram 10 mg (morning) + Mirtazapine 7.5 mg (night) is a known and usually safe combination.
But since they were prescribed by two different doctors, please inform both doctors so that one can coordinate and supervise your treatment.
Do not stop or adjust doses on your own 👍
First of all you must follow advice of a single doctor and adherent to one treatment plan
Both medications at this dose are optimum
Symptoms need to be assessed before commenting that which Medication should be prescribed
Must follow one doctor's advice and continue follow up
It depends on your problem. If you have sleep problems and loss of appetite you can continue mirtazapine 7.5 mg .
Nexito 10 mg , if you have anxiety disorders or major depressive disorder you can continue it.
But you have to follow one doctor advice at one time.
Both medications are prescribed for different conditions at this dose.
