I was diagnosed with colon cancer stage 3 in February, 2019. After surgery currently I am undergoing chemotherapy for 6 months.
My doctor has told me that they will be doing scan/tests after 6 months of chemotherapy.
I want to know, can I go for scan/test after 3 months of chemotherapy to ensure my treatment is going in correct direction and there is no more development of cancer in other parts of my body.
Why should I wait for 6 months of chemotherapy and then go for scanning ?
