Cold urticaria
Hi doctor
I am 42 year old..i have cold urticaria from from 2011..is this a sign of cancer ?.
Whenever I visited doctor they just give antihistamine tablets..only cetrizine
whenever I expose myself to cold air or rain...urticaria and itching will form all over the body.. couldn't stop itching for few min...unless my body comes to warm temperature
And i have itching in between leg fingers..
Can you please suggest what are the blood test should be done

This is chronic cold urticaria, and no, it is not a sign of cancer. Cold-induced hives are a mast cell hypersensitivity reaction, not a tumour marker. The problem is that cetirizine SOS is not enough for you - this needs a daily, properly dosed non-sedating antihistamine for weeks, not on-and-off tablets. After 14 years a short workup is worth doing once.
Next Steps
Do CBC with ESR/CRP, TSH with anti-TPO and an ice-cube provocation test, then start a daily non-sedating antihistamine for 4-6 weeks and avoid cold baths and sudden cold exposure. Book a Practo consult with me and I will titrate the dose and review your reports.

Avoidance of the cold ,non sedating antihistamine are the standard treatment.Do the CBC,and IgE.if abnormal, consult an allergist,you may benefit from desensitizing treatment like omalizumab .
