This is for my brother. Loss connection between ear and nose .and he hearing cracking sound. He had cleft lip.it corrected when he was child.now he has contineus cold.

Usually people who had cleft will have dysfunctional eustachian tube which causes frequent ear problems. If he is suffering from frequent cold then he may be suffering from allergic rhinitis which requires long term treatment with anti Histamine medicines and steroid nasal sprays
