Cold and fever from 4 day

Asked for Male, 29 Years

From last 4 days I am having cold,cough and fever.My WBC are also in normal range. I had the blood test done for platelet count and it is showing the count 2.57 lakhs/cumm. But my MPV value is slightly high 11.0 Fl. What are the causes of this?Is it anything serious?What should I do to make it normal?

Hi.... Drink fluids. Drink plenty of water to keep the throat moist and prevent dehydration. Try comforting foods and beverage. Warm liquids — broth, caffeine-free tea or warm water with honey .... Consider lozenges. Lozenges can soothe a sore throat.... Take paracetamol for your fever.... Consult Physician if symptoms persists....
