Nebulisation is used to deliver drugs directly to the respiratory system. First your paediatrician will assess whether your child has any narrowing in respiratory tract for which nebulization may be necessary. It does not cause dependence, so he might not need it every time if given once.
Health Tips
Although widely used, nebulization has a slight associated risk of ventilation perfusion mismatch which may result in deterioration of the patient . So should be used cautiously only if prescribed
