Cold and cough
My husband has taken Amoxicillin thrice a day for 7 days due to surgery. He has taken his last tablet on 3rd Jan. Now he has cough and cold. Can we give any more antibiotics to him

Good morning
I understand your concern.
For cough and cold, antibiotics are not required .However, if the patient has been detected COVID positive and /or running fever along with cough and cold, antibiotics may be necessary but for that I would like to know in details about the symptoms.
Next Steps
Meanwhile start on the following:
Tab Levocetrizine 5mg 1tab once at bedtime for 05days
Syp Ascoril D 1tspf thrice a day for 05days
Betadine gargles 4times a day
Steam inhalation with Karvol twice a day.
Plenty of warm water orally.

If the symptoms persist for 02days,Kindly get a COVID-19 TEST via RTPCR on Day 3 of the symptoms.

Avoid antibiotics bcoz he already had now give tab Paracetamol 650(1+1+1) after meals
Tab Acegrow 3d (1+0+1) after meals
Syp Grinlinctus DX (5ml+5ml+5ml) for dry cough
If phelgum then accordingly tell
