Cold and Cough
My 19 month old baby is suffering from cold and cough since yesterday. Due to her runny nose, she has got problem to breathe. She is taking breathe through her mouth. So, I want some good medicines for her cough out.

Medicines are not very useful. As a matter of fact antibiotics and anti cold medicine should not be given. They may be harmful. Clean nose of baby with nose pump/ nasal aspirator. You may put saline nasal drops

Give cetirizine syp 2.5ml once a day... Instill nasal saline drops to relieve nasal block...

Give Syr Cetrizine 2.5 mo 2-3 times/ day Use saline nasal drops for nose block Steam inhalation

Give warm water frequently Even with medications cold will take 4-5 days to settle.

Nasoclear drops 2 drops each nostril every 4th hrly Ambrodil drops 1 ml TID
