Clean up your surroundings for dust or any other substances that may be causing the allergic reaction/it could be a food item/pets. Keenly observe these triggers to eliminate them. Sometimes even dust trapped in carpets results in allergic cough and cold. Once these reasons are cancelled out and symptoms still persist then consulting a doctor can help.
