Good morning, My 5.8 yrs old son has cold ( nose block) and dry cough. There is no fever. His weight is 30kg. Please prescribe him medication and precautions to take.

Give Indian herbs concocction. It is tasty effient and efficacious. Take 150ml drinking water ,+ piece of jaggary,+ fresh crushed ginger, +3whole black peppers,+3 cloves, boil to concentrate it to make100ml. Cool it and serve it warm 2times a day, for 3days. Add vit C 500mg chewable tablet of and on as candy.

Over the counter medicines should be avoided in this season.Doctor must be consulted. Syrup Levocetrizine  and nasal drops would help.
