Hello I was diagnosed with cmv igg 160 and igm negative. What are the step to be taken to avoid spreading this to my family member in my life time.how can i know it is in reactive stage ehen will reactive.please tell me i was worrying about i couldn't sleep.i went to near by doctor they are giving much clarity on this

Since igm is negative the infection is not reactive but a chronic one. It is not contagious at this stage.

Hi If u r igM positive that means u r having current active infection And then only it can spread IgG positive is insignificant
