Clopidogrel and aspirin are same?
My mom is taking clopidogrel 75 mg with atorvastatin 10 mg now. Before she was taking aspirin 75mg with atorvastatin 10 mg. Is that ok? Both clopidogrel and aspirin will give same effects?

Both these medicines are blood thinners with different mechanisms of action. Clopidogrel can be given instead of aspirin

Hi. Aspirin and clopidogrel will give the same clinical benefits. Both are acting on platelets but in a different mechanism. She can continue the medication advised by your doctor.
