Clonazepam 0.25mg tapering

Asked for Female, 46 Years

My son has been asked to taper clonazepam 0.25mg. Alternate days 0.25mg, 12 tablets in May.,and stop by June. He was on daily dose of 0.25mg at night for 2 months. Will the withdraw symptoms be severe? Please help.he is 140 kilos and 6 feet 5 inches

He should be able to stop in a week itself. 0.25mg is the smallest dose and highly unlikely to cause withdrawal symptoms.
