Tapering of tryptomer
Husband and I were facing some mental health issues. So I consulted the doc for myself as he is not comfortable with psychiatry. The doctor suggested Tryptomer 25mg. Husband too started as he got better with the medicine..after 2 weeks he tapered down to 17.5mg then after 10 days to 10mg. Now, he is again facing issues in his health and lost interest in talking, walking, running etc. He is not ready to go to the doctor for the same. So, can I get the advice for him. What should I do with his medicine. Should I tell him to continue with 10mg or should he increase the mg? Please help.

Thank you for sharing this. I know it isn't always easy to talk about personal struggles, so I'm glad you reached out. I would recommend a detailed psychiatric consultation to understand the underlying cause and discuss the best treatment plan for you.
