The problem of hearing sounds while opening the mouth could well be related to pair of joints located in front of ears called TMJ or Temporomandibular joint. Treatment would again depend on duration of this specific problem. Anything from simple medication to a splint would help after consultation with a dentist specialized in treating TMJ.
