Do it ASAP since how many days you have this habit?and how many times u chew it in a day? U might be knowing all the hazards chewing tobacco and other products.It is difficult to give it up all of a sudden so u have to take some efforts,I have done it successfully in some of my patients,so u need to be firm on it decision.

The only way to quit this habit is to quit it at once and without an effort to try to phase it out. And any treatment is useless unless the etiology is corrected. Cleaning of the teeth can be done by a process called as scaling and you need to contact your dentist for an appointment for that procedure as soon as possible. But the damages of chewing khaini or any other tobacco product is much more than the deposits on the teeth and you should not wait for the Irreversible damages to appear before quitting this habit. Hello, its good that you have the will to leave the habit of tobacco chewing, because no counselling or supportive therapy can help you unless and until you have the will to quit it. Stay committed to quitting the habit, cut down gradually and quit it finally. Start chewing sugar free gum if you have urge to chew tobacco, drink plenty of water, and stay active. And regarding the cleaning, you may go for a thorough professional cleaning from a dentist to remove the tobacco stains, plaque and tartar. Tobacco in any form is injurious to health overall.
