Hi, Possibly you’re suffering from bacterial pharyngitis (commonly called a throat infection). Do you have pain while swallowing, fever? Your doctor would have prescribed the antibiotic in view of your throat infection. This medicine per se does not cause the lymph node swelling. Make sure you do betadine gargling regularly and drink plenty of warm water. Occasional pain killer/anti inflammatory might help to alleviate the pain. If it’s still persisting, pls visit your doctor again.
