Clarification
My daughter born 22 days before. She will sleep continously in the afternoon for 3 to 4 hour and not able to feed her in that time. During this long gap of feeding found her leg shakes 2 or 3 times. Need clarification whether this is fits or any kind of disease.  Did she need to undergo any treatment.

Hi. Does this happen every day? How much time after sleep does it happen? What about night sleep? How is her activity otherwise? Weight gain? Urine? Motion? Usually a gap of 3-4 hours should not cause any problem in newborns . Jerks or twitches can occur during sleep in normal new born and is completely normal. They should NOT occur in waking state. You can record the event and show a doctor in person...
