New born baby 22 days old
Dear doctor, My baby is 22 days old .. he is taking both formula milk and breastfeeding..but since from 4 days he is not taking breastfeeding properly. ..he is taking formula milk.. Also at every feeding he poops many times and because of that he gets irritated and cries alot ...he cries soo lot that we all getting tensed..after changing his cloth he becomes calm untill he gets milk.. I m concern about breastfeeding..whhy he is not taking properly His born weight was 2.8kg Current weight is 3.2kg

Thank you for your query Newborn babies crying after wetting or pooping is perfectly okay and you don’t need to worry If babies are bottle fed early they try to avoid bread feeding. This is called as nipple confusion This is because the milk flow in bottle is faster and so easier for him than breastfeeding and so he prefers bottle feeding His weight gain is good so don’t worry My suggestion Try to breast feed him as much as possible You should Take lots of fluids and fresh vegetables and soups Reduce stress

It’s common for baby to pass motion frequently.actually baby will be having nipple confusion if u r giving in bottle better to stop it and try in spoon and give more of breast feeding
