Chronic ileitis
Hello sir recently I have done colonoscopy where results TERMINAL ILEITIS after that done biopsy. In microscopic examination shows  few fragments of ileal mucosa with edema, mild increases in inflammation and few lymphoid follicles in the lamina propria. No ulceration, neutrophilic infiltrate or granuloma is seen... What does it mean... Is it chron's disease or any infection plz reply... Thanking with regards

Granuloma is is a feature of tuberculosis so it has to be further evaluated higher tests may be done to confirm tuberculosis and extent of disease a detailed history examination is needed 2 to evaluate your problem accurately
