Chronic cough since childhood

My mother is suffering from chronic coughing problem from her teenage years and the problem still persists , it gets worse in the morning, tests were done for TB And it was NEGATIVE. Need help regarding her problem, what's the disease, what's the actual problem, want to see her healthy and happy.
