Chronic cough due to lax les acid reflux
I have problem of lax les due to which there is acid reflux ..and that causes cough issue due to which I am having continuous cough sometimes start feeling breathlessness and continuous cough for 1 hour ... Have been taking montelukast it gives relief temporarily but still issue is there

1) Sleep with 15 degree elevation 2) donot lie down at least for 2 hrs after meals 3) Have timely meals and avoid fasting 4) Avoid retching/ frequent throat clearing

You need prokinetics and smaller meals it will help with management of LES. Montelukast is not indicated in Lax LES
