You seem to have suffered from reflux oesophagitis which is type of acidity related disorder. Chronic reflux in the. Esophagus can cause cancer in some people. Treatment includes long term medications with dietary modifications and lifestyle changes. Reflux which is not responding to medicines may require surgery
