LPR,acid reflux,thirst
I was diagnosed with LPR last month.However, no tests were taken to conclude that by doctor. I have experience some weight loss , is weight loss,weakness,thirst normal in LPR? Thirst persists even after I drink water.

LPR or laryngopharyngeal reflux is a condition where gastric acid spills into the throat causing various symptoms such as 1. Foreign body sensation while swallowing 2. Burning sensation in throat 3. Dryness of throat 4. Recurrent cough 5. Change in voice Usually diagnosis is clinical and no investigations are required in normal circumstances. Treatment involves course of anti reflux medications for few weeks to months and change in dietary habits
