Hello doc, I have done lipid profile. The result as follows:
1. Total cholesterol 221 mg/dl
2. Triglycerides 219 mg/dl
3. HDL cholesterol 34 mg/dl
4. Non - HDL cholesterol 187 mg/dl
5. Ldl cholesterol 143.2 mg/dl
6. Vldl cholesterol 43.8 mg/dl
7. Chol/hdl ratio 6.5
Earlier on April I have done the lipid profile everything is normal except triglycerides 219 mg/dl. I have stress and anxiety. I have no smoking habit. But I take alcohol occasionally.
1. Will these increase my levels???
2. Is temperory raise in levels are normal ???
3. Is this levels required any treatment???
