Cholesteatoma requires straight forward surgery.
If u won't get operated than it has tendency to spread and damage all ossicles and even in severe cases can go to brain also.

Hi, if you have already diagnosed with cholesteatoma, you might be having scanty, blood stained, foul smelling discharge and decreased hearing also, some times symptoms may vary up on individual.
It’s better to get removed because it may lead to further complications later on
