Child struggling to cope up in school
My kid is 4.5yrs she is facing difficulty in writting we noticed it in pre nursery she was not able to color or write but since few months after few hands on activity practice now in lkg she is writing alphabet numbers but teacher complains she is lacking behind n too slow she doesn't understand Until helped many times or given personal attention. she doesn't make eye contact with teacher but understand n do follow things but with known ppl she does see eyes speak n react I'm really worried

Through the above mentioned information given it can be understood that your child needs personal attention to complete the tasks . Your child needs to be assessed by a clinical psychologist to be able to get a detailed analysis of the case and reach a definite diagnosis . Try and provide a supportive environment and give the child small tasks which can be performed easily . It is advisable to get a detailed assessment done for a better understanding so that help can be provided as soon as possible .

Dr lakshmi clinical and neuro psycholog ist. Your child may be having problem in adjusting to school environment. Do not get worried much about teachers complaint.Some children will take some time to get adjusted to school environment.

Firstly understand some kids are fast learners some slow don't judge secondly kindly do the following 1. Do blood hemoglobin test 2. Get the vitamins and give 3. Do more physical activity 4. Use videos songs activities to teach I am sure there is not much to be done and she is normal

Please consult a Psychologist. No need to worry much. Don't expect your child to behave exactly like your neighbour's child. Each child is unique though they have a normal pattern of development.
