Child high fever 103-104 pain swalloing

Asked for Male, 41 Years

Fever since yesterday evening hovering over 103. Crocin sup administered DS. Complemented with pain in throat while swallowing food. Amoxicillin 400mg/5ml should be started or not? Likely diagnosis??

High fever with throat pain, should not be ignored, it could be pharyngitis.. Go to nearby child specialist for throat examination and proper check up. If needed, doctor will start antibiotics. Do not use antibiotics on your own. They should be taken only if it is needed and for appropriate duration ( which you should not decide on your own). Because if you partially treat the infection on your own, it can cause worsening later on and antibiotics resistance.
