Child ENT help please-Adenoid surgery
Hi,
My son is 6 year old since 3 years he is suffering cold a cough, cough comes only in winter seasons and he is also allergic. Since 2 months breathing from mouth we consulted ENT, ent referred us for Adenoid surgery, it says it's 70% blockage and we have to operate to remove adenoid,
Is there possibility we can shrink with medicine or homeopathy. Do I have to go surgery only as my son is not growing in height and weight too

Your doctor is right. If the adenoid has not regressed by 5th birthday, your child needs the surgery. Fortunately, adenoidectomy is a simple surgery. I usually post these cases for Friday morning. Child is discharged same day, and back to school on Monday morning.
