Child ENT help please-Adenoid surgery
Hi, My son is 6 year old since 3 years he is suffering cold a cough, cough comes only in winter seasons and he is also allergic. Since 2 months breathing from mouth we consulted ENT, ent referred us for Adenoid surgery, it says it's 70% blockage and we have to operate to remove adenoid, Is there possibility we can shrink with medicine or homeopathy. Do I have to go surgery only as my son is not growing in height and weight too

Try nasal spray for 3 months if no improvement go for surgery

Your doctor is right. If the adenoid has not regressed by 5th birthday, your child needs the surgery. Fortunately, adenoidectomy is a simple surgery. I usually post these cases for Friday morning. Child is discharged same day, and back to school on Monday morning.
