Chickenpox Treatment
Hi. I am 32 years old and I am suffering with chickenpox since 5 days. I have meet with general physician and he told me there is no treatment for chickenpox and advice on my diet plan and also adviced me take plenty of water to cool down the body from heat. I would like to know is there any medicine available to fast recover from chickenpox. Also Please suggest me how many days it took to recover for adults.

Tab.Valacyclovir 1g Three times daily for 5 days is the treatment for Chicken Pox.

There is no specific treatment for chicken pox. It’s only supportive management. Please don’t scratch on the lesions. Since you are an adult and have developed chicken pox you must be careful so that you don’t develop any complications. It takes 2 weeks to recover from chicken pox.
