Hello! I empathize with you that you had chicken pox at such a time. Usually patient are contagious 2 days prior to appearance of rash and till 5 to 7 days after rash appears. Usually the blisters are contagious. As per the books you are not contagious right now. A person exposed to chickenpox virus develops the disease after 15 days of exposure. I hope good health for your baby but keep the baby under observation for chickenpox in coming days.
